Job Title: Reverse Logistics Field Engineer/Technician
Location: Tulsa, OK (Tulsa Metro Area) & Domestic/International Travel
Travel: Up to 60-80% (Domestic & International)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Contract duration: Ongoing W2 Contract thru end of 2026 for now

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Reverse Logistics Field Engineer to support telecom network operations across the Americas. This role is responsible for auditing, collecting, documenting, packaging, and coordinating the return of telecom equipment from customer sites back into inventory for refurbishment and redeployment.
This is a highly detail-oriented, travel-based position requiring strong spreadsheet skills, telecom hardware knowledge, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer sites across the Americas (including potential travel to Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, and other regions)
- Audit new and used telecom equipment onsite, documenting hardware condition and configurations
- Perform detailed part identification and verify correct part numbers prior to repair or return
- Conduct quality assurance checks and attach documentation to work orders
- Safely remove, package, and stage telecom equipment for shipment
- Coordinate material pickup with logistics and courier teams
- Input and manage inventory data within customer systems
- Create and update product configuration documentation
- Participate in team meetings and provide weekly activity updates
- Submit weekly expense reports in compliance with company policies
- Adhere strictly to customer safety, security, and confidentiality requirements
Day-to-Day Workflow
- Receive weekly travel itinerary and work orders from coordinating team
- Travel to assigned sites
- Perform record finding, hardware audits, and quality control documentation
- Manipulate and update spreadsheets to ensure accurate tracking
- Prepare equipment for shipment and coordinate pickup
- Return material into inventory workflow
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the telecom field
- Strong experience with telecom/electronic hardware
- Practical understanding of inventory control and management systems
- Strong Excel skills (manipulating, editing, and maintaining detailed spreadsheets)
- Experience working autonomously in field-based roles
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in part identification and configuration documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Passport required (candidates in process of obtaining will be considered; must be comfortable traveling domestically immediately)
Preferred Experience
- Experience with quality assurance documentation
- Experience working with multiple vendors
- Experience supporting refurbishment or reverse logistics processes
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
Additional Details
- Travel expenses are fully covered
- Daily meal allowance provided during travel
- Corporate credit card provided for travel booking and approved expenses
- May require occasional evening or weekend work during peak periods
- Ability to travel on short notice required
