Job Description

Mechanical Drafter I

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
  • Create paint and styling drawings
  • Etching layout
  • Modeling
  • Paint Instructions

Education & Experience Required:
  •  AAS degree in CADD or related field
  • 2-4 years’ experience required

Technical Skills
(Required)
  • Experience with CADD software NX
  • Blueprint reading
(Desired)
  • Manufacturing knowledge
  • Adobe

Soft Skills
(Required)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to the frequent priority shifts of changing business demand


Disqualifiers/Red Flags:
  • Masters degree, 10+ years’ experience
