Job Description

Design Engineer

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

Support the design & development of low-pressure fuel systems for large diesel engines
Will be the primary contact supporting specific engine families

Typical task breakdown:

Review & assess warranty data to identify problems
Lead Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) teams to resolve field issues
Respond to inquiries from engine plants regarding assembly, quality, and system performance issues
Collaborate with part suppliers to understand manufacturing processes and implement design & process improvements
Work with detailing group to update prints

Work environment:

Primarily (~80%) desk work, with some (20%) hands-on testing & validation work as needed

Education & Experience Required:

Years of experience: 3
Degree requirement: Bachelor’s
