Civil Engineering Professional Career Level
Location: Hybrid - Greenville, SC
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead site development, master planning, and site selection activities.
-
Design and plan underground utilities and optimize site space usage.
-
Conduct hydrology analysis to design efficient stormwater drainage systems.
-
Analyze and develop gravitational wastewater systems for large-scale projects.
-
Prepare final grading plans, including earthwork balancing and cut-and-fill analysis.
-
Develop erosion, sediment control, and stormwater pollution prevention plans to support permit approvals.
-
Research local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements to ensure compliance.
-
Perform stormwater analysis and modeling using software such as StormCAD and CivilStorm.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
15+ years of civil engineering experience.
-
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
-
Proficiency in Civil 3D and other design software.
-
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a site civil team effectively.
-
Excellent collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams remotely.
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
-
Experience in data center projects preferred, but not mandatory.
Nice to Have Skills:
-
Prior experience with utility routing and site space planning.
-
Knowledge of stormwater modeling software beyond StormCAD and CivilStorm.

Familiarity with local jurisdictional requirements across various regions.
Preferred Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.
-
Extensive project experience that demonstrates leadership and technical expertise.
Other Requirements:
-
Willingness to travel as needed to project sites across the US.

Relevant certifications or memberships in professional civil engineering organizations.
