Business Analyst - Journeyman
LCAT Requirements - Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; 4–6 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis; 3+ years supporting external business analytics projects; experience with data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills; experience with Agile methodologies and requirements gathering; active DoD Secret Clearance; familiarity with DoD logistics systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle EBS); experience with KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
Nice to Haves: Experience with federal logistics or supply chain systems; knowledge of ITIL v4 and Agile SAFe practices; familiarity with DevSecOps environments and CI/CD pipelines; experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and system validation; understanding of STIG compliance and DoD cybersecurity frameworks; experience with AI/ML.
What will the candidate do in this role?: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and system requirements; analyze internal and external data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making; translate business needs into functional specifications for developers and testers; support Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning; conduct user acceptance testing and validate system changes; prepare documentation such as meeting notes, process flows, and training materials; support audit readiness and compliance documentation as needed.

This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and support the development of mission-critical solutions that enhance operational readiness and decision-making.
