Job Summary
We are seeking a Packaging Engineer to support packaging design, standardization, and implementation within a high-volume distribution environment. This role will focus on developing efficient, cost-effective, and safe packaging solutions for parts and materials, while collaborating cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working both in an office setting and on the warehouse floor to drive continuous improvement and support packaging automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Develop and specify packaging solutions for high-volume materials, including corrugated cartons and other protective materials
Support new part setup by defining and implementing appropriate packaging configurations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets quality, safety, and operational requirements
Partner with operations and shop floor teams to identify and resolve packaging issues and inefficiencies
Contribute to packaging standardization efforts across multiple facilities
Assist in implementing packaging solutions that support automation and robotics
Monitor and ensure quality of packaging materials and processes
Participate in project teams and communicate progress and results to leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer 1 to join our team onsite in Waco, TX, supporting real-time production and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced assembly environment. In this 12-month contract role (MondayâThursday, 6:00amâ4:00pm), you will apply engineering principles to improve industrial layout and manufacturing processes, update tooling and routings, assist with new product introduction (NPI), review engineering change notices, and author standard work documentation in systems such as Teamcenter and SAP. They collaborate with Quality and Supply teams to address nonconformances, evaluate part readiness when needed. Continuous improvement work is constantâidentifying waste, improving material flow, and optimizing layout or tooling to increase efficiency.

Interaction with team:
